The use of anabolic supplements among women is an under-researched area, and most studies that explore aspects of Androgenic Anabolic Steroids (AAS) use are based on small samples of women who often take part in fitness, body building competitions, and strength sports.
Research suggests that females who use AAS are commonly concerned about virilizing side effects, such as a more masculine appearance, a deeper voice and infertility. However, as an online article pointed out, finding information about specific side effects from female AAS users is perceived as difficult. According to a 2021 qualitative study, women typically take AAS as cycles, administered orally or as injections, but tend to use less androgenic substances, lower doses and fewer substances than male AAS users.
The most commonly used substances among women include stanozolol (Winstrol), oxandrolone (Anavar), methandrostenolone (Dianabol), methenolone enanthate (BioPrimo® /Primobolan) and nandrolone (Deca-Durabolin)
For example, oral AAS that are often used by women, such as Anavar and Winstrol, may have liver toxic effects and may influence the regulation of cholesterol and other lipoproteins that may increase cardiovascular risk.
Another participant of the 2021 study, Katherine, stated that initially she was interested in trying Winstrol. However, she fully trusted the knowledge of her partner at that time, who instead gave her a different steroid with a stronger androgen effect:
“The worst was that he gave me Omnadren, which is a testo, so I got a little... It was not good at all. Looking back, I realize that he had no clue. I figured that Omnadren was probably safe for me to take, but it wasn’t.”
After only one cycle of unknown doses of injected Omnadren [a substance that contains four testosterone subtypes/esters], Kathrine developed severe facial acne, as well as a hoarse, deepened voice and external genital changes. To her, it was difficult to process the latter two side effects, and they impacted her trust in her ex-partners’ knowledge.

The above experiences should in no way discourage you from trying out this category of supplements just because you are a woman who wants to achieve your fitness targets.
It is just a matter of choosing the best anabolic compound suited for the female body, at the same time observing careful and reasonable dosing.

So far, the only scientific resource we can find in terms of a recommended BioPrimo® (Metenolone/Primobolan) dosage for females is at the National Center for Advanced Translational Sciences, a center jointly supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and multiple pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.
As stated on the site, the recommended dose of legal Primobolan (BioPrimo®) (Methenolone enanthate, injectable form) is 200-400 mg/week for men and 50-100 mg/week for women and the dosages can be taken with or without meals. The ideal dose of Primo tablets (acetate form) for men is 50-100 mg every day and 10-25 mg every day for women.
In order to ensure that you do not misuse Primobolan, it is best to buy it after getting a medical prescription (after complete evaluation of medical reports and history) and the purchase should always be made from a reputed steroid store or pharmacy.
When dosing, in case the first dose was missed, it should be skipped and the next dosage should be taken at the scheduled time.
BioPrimo® (Metenolone/Primobolan) must be stored at a controlled room temperature of 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) with excursions permitted to 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F) and kept away from unauthorized use, pets, sunlight, moisture, and children.
